The police informed an Israeli holding a license to use a pistol because it was revoking his license, after his telephone number appeared on the device of a Tellegras dealer who had been arrested.
He was summoned for questioning in which he admitted to using cannabis and that for six months Cannabis had purchased this service. Following his confession, it was decided to cancel his gun license.
"The police position is that possession of a license for guns of any kind may constitute a danger to the public safety," the response to the appeal of the decision to revoke his license was written.
"By virtue of my authority, I hereby announce the revocation of your license for the gun, in respect of a drug abuse case," the statement said. He was then asked to immediately go to the police station and place the pistol he had so far licensed.
On the other hand, the same citizen was recently summoned to reserve combat duty, in which he is not only entitled, but obligated, to bear arms.
The difference between the police's decision to ban him from using weapons and his duty to use weapons in a military framework has angered him, and he turned to comedian and legalization activist Gadi Wilcharsky, who published the story online and won hundreds of reactions and participations.
