In the early hours of the morning, Israeli police officers discovered a greenhouse in Beit Yosef, with more than 6,000 cannabis plants. At the end of a raid on the incubator two suspects were arrested.
According to the police report, "a greenhouse was seized on an area of dozens of dunams containing 6,000 seedlings of marijuana from which a dangerous drug is produced illegally."
The exposure was carried out after covert police activity combined with technological means, when the morning signal was given and dozens of police raided the place.
Two suspected 19 and 27 suspects were arrested, one from Kafr Kara and the other from Lod. After their arrest, they were brought for questioning.
The police said in response that "the Israel Police will continue to act on all levels, using all means at its disposal as part of its efforts to thwart the production and distribution of drugs that often find their way to the youth and constitute a slippery slope that could turn into ongoing consumption of drugs."
