According to the report, Rishon Lezion resident 30, who rented the apartments to raise Cannabis, was arrested and today the police will ask to extend his remand.
"The Israel Police detectives revealed on Monday night the number of apartments that served as" hydro "drug development laboratories in and near Ashdod," the report said.
It was also reported that "covert activity conducted by the police detectives led to the exposure of several apartments in the city of Ashdod and adjacent to it rented by a resident of Rishon Lezion in favor of turning them into green hothouses.
"As part of the operation that became a postcard last night, the suspect was arrested and transferred to interrogation at the police station after which he was jailed," another report was reported. "In a search conducted by the detectives, hundreds of seedlings were found."
The police said that "we will continue with diligent activity to locate such laboratories and suspects who are involved in this in order to prevent risk to the law-abiding public."
