Cannabis patients demonstrated in front of Litzman's home in Jerusalem

About 20 patients demonstrated outside the home of Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman in Jerusalem. Police officers confronted the demonstrators.

A step up in the struggle of medical cannabis patients. At this time, 22 demonstrators are being treated in front of the home of Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman in protest of the planned reform in the sector, which is expected to reduce the dosage and increase in prices.

The demonstration outside Litzman's home comes after all attempts to cancel the Health Ministry's plans so far with demonstrations against the ministry itself and by blocking roads have failed.

The patients gathered at the corner of Even Ha'azel Street in the Ezrat Torah neighborhood of Jerusalem, where Litzman lived, and marched in front of his house where they began to call Litzman to go out and talk to them and raised protest signs.

Patients call: "Cannabis is a medicine, a problem reform", "the people demand medical cannabis" and "Litzman Litzman wake up, the plant will release."

A group of ultra-Orthodox residents of the neighborhood, who created a separation on the way to Litzman's home, arrived at the scene. The activists organized the cannabis patients Nir Yupatero, Meir Kadosh and Orin Penso.

The demonstrators plan to march toward the deputy minister's house.

Police arrived in the area in the last few minutes and began to confront the patients. The police have yet to respond.
